Post description

As a Sales Representative for Palamatic Process, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the industrial sector. Your role will involve identifying and developing business opportunities, establishing long-lasting relationships with clients, and closely collaborating with technical teams to customize offered solutions. You will also contribute to the development of marketing strategies and promotional initiatives.

 

Your tasks will include :

  • Marketing and strategy : Participating in the development and execution of marketing strategies, as well as promoting our innovative solutions.
  • Business development : Identifying new market opportunities, expanding the client portfolio, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Technical writing : Drafting technical and commercial proposals.
  • Customer relationship :
    • Ensuring effective communication with clients, understanding their needs, and working with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
    • Managing commercial negotiations and signing contracts/orders.
    • Transferring the project to the engineering offices after order validation.

Profile required

The ideal candidate will have

  • a background in industrial, chemical, or mechanical engineering, complemented by a strong interest in sales.
  • A resourceful and proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a track record of successfully navigating challenges.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in French is advantageous, particularly in the use of database and related software.
  • Prior hands-on experience with powder handling equipment is required
  • Availability for regular travel within Canada, the USA, and occasionally worldwide
